The difference between nylon casters and polyurethane casters

Update:2022-09-26

The installation of casters is convenient and labor-saving for the handling of goods and liberation of labor. For example, it is a powerful supplement for the various instruments and handling machines used for indoor and outdoor work and transportation inside and outside the workplace. The main materials are polyurethane wheels, rubber wheels and nylon wheels.

The characteristics and differences of these casters are described below.

一、Polyurethane casters have low hardness and low noise during operation, which is a little laborious when pushing heavy items. It has the characteristics of small abrasion, strong flexibility, quiet operation, no imprinting, impact resistance, wear resistance, good waterproof performance and strong corrosion resistance. Suitable for high quality machines or indoor floors that are easily damaged; relatively harsh environments. With good wear resistance, various processing methods and wide applicability, casters are now generally made of polyurethane.

二、The rubber casters have good elasticity, certain buffering, shock absorption and sound-absorbing performance, and the price is low. The disadvantage is that the service life is generally poor, and it is suitable for outdoor use and places where the external environment is not too bad.

三、Nylon wheel

Nylon or polyurethane casters are generally strong and strong, wear resistant, durable, and can be made to be nearly transparent or other colors. Nylon casters have high hardness and will generate some noise during operation, but the thrust required is slightly smaller.
